This fucking blew my mind last night and it got better with a few more listens today. I expect the rating to go higher. The Agalloch-ish melodies and that My Dying Bride melancholic doom approach just hits me so deep.

I've still never heard Aava Tuulen Maa but heard good things about it. I definitely need to get on that. I remember listening to Tietäjän Laulu and thought it was ok, pretty forgettable (terrible artwork), so I was blown away when I heard Pirut. This band rules, I'm glad they are getting so much attention on this site because they deserve to be heard.

Aava tuulen maa, Kuu.., Pirut and Muistumia were all great releases.
This one should rule as well.

After several listens and a little time with this, I agree with you that Pirut is slightly better. This is still up there with one of my favorite releases of 2015.

Work, sorry  . It would be done already if the lyrics were available online and I could just translate them - I could do that at work as well - but since they're not I'd actually have to listen to the album at the same time - which I can not do at work - and I haven't even been able to give this (or any new albums for the past two weeks) a spin yet.
