I keep coming back to Here to Mars and Atlas.

Here to Mars is decent instrumentally but my god those lyrics

The worst lyrics of any Coheed song by far. I feel like I'm 'done' with this album. It's a shitty feeling.

as if Coheed hasn't had really cheesy lyrics in the past?

Sure, it's cheesy, but I can't believe how much that's bothering people.
It's weird to me how people say things like "Man, that makes me cringe." I'm just imagining people sitting in the office or on a park bench with earbuds in cringing and making weird faces, and someone walking by going "Are you okay? You look like you're in some discomfort.:
OH SORRY, IT'S JUST THESE SONG LYRICS, THEY'RE MAKING ME PHYSICALLY UNCOMFORTABLE.

It's just distracting. Besides that, Here To Mars is a pretty unremarkable 'big' single to my ears. The nearest equivalent song is Here We Are Juggernaut, which explores pretty similar themes, but lays them out in a somewhat obtuse way with darker tones. The "your teeth just won't stop chewing out my heart" line is a good example of this, and it's one of my favorite Coheed lines, but every time I get to the "Please, I'm sorry I WILL NEVER LET YOU GOOOO" line, it just derails the whole bridge of HTM and I just can't get into it. I'm capable of removing a song from its lyrics to enjoy it, but for the most part, the only one doing anything particularly interesting instrumentally in the track is Zach, but he's great all over the record.
Here To Mars is definitely my least listened to track on this album, but it's mostly because when I listen to it, I'm spending a ton of time telling myself "oh, just ignore the lyrics" and then it's over.

Love "Here to Mars." It's a good track. Lyrics are fine - I really don't see anything cringeworthy. It's a love song. Thematically (and tonally) it's very different from a song like Juggernaut. It knows its purpose and fulfills it well. It's a little lyrically simple, but that doesn't make it a bad song at all.
I think people hold the same thing against "You've Got Spirit, Kid." I guess I just don't get it. Musically, there are tracks that are far more boring than those two on here.

Young Love and The Audience are the worst on this thing. I can't really recall anything interesting happening in any capacity on either track.

young love has grown on me but it still feels like it spends it's whole duration building up to something that never happens

The bonus tracks:
"Fangs of the Fox" - acoustic, reminds me of early Coheed, SSTB-ish; has mini harmonica solo
"Bridge and Tunnel" - sounds like a Prize Fighter Inferno track

Fangs of the Fox was pretty nice. I can see why they left it off the record, it wouldn't fit well. It's definitely one of my top tracks from this album cycle. Really, really not into Bridge and Tunnel, but it's a demo bonus track, so I can't complain.
Also, new video for "Island" is coming out tomorrow, I hear. That'll probably be cool, the YGSK video was a great backdrop to great song, so I'm excited to see where they take the energy of Island.

It's a great tune - relating to a lot on a personal level lately. Perhaps the same will happen with the tracks I don't fully enjoy, but then I just go back to their previous albums.
