I agree with @BrushedRed tbh with the addition of Latchkey Kids. Circadian Rhythm has definitely grown on me since the release but it's still pretty low on the best songs list for this album

Lol no way. This barely fell short, and still came through in other unexpected ways. New Beach House and Florence and the Machine are probably among the most disappointing for me this year.

Yeah, for real. I think this deserves a lot more credit than most people are giving it. It's nothing too special, but it's a really solid album front to back and different from the rest of their catalog.

No songs on here are actually bad, most are at least okay. But with that said only a few really stand out and I feel like most of those aren't much special

I fail to understand the 3.2 avg and general distaste for this; it's definitely what was expected following Neck of the Woods and in my opinion is a high 3.5 borderline 4. If I felt like getting all technical I'd go in and edit this to a 3.7 or 3.8.
because it's soft as hell and a lot of their better songs are the heavier ones (and their better albums are the ones that have the mix between the more mellow stuff like catch & release/three seed and the harder stuff like panic switch/the royal we/future foe scenarios/etc.)
