Many songs sound similar in the world of rock. Its kinda generally excepted. Chord Progressions have been reused hundreds of times on many very popular songs. Dani California sounds much like Mary Jane but other than that those others songs arn't that similar.

heres my cameo, i just missed you all so much i had to come back. do i expect to change what you think? no. all id like you to do is listen. for those of you who wet themselves over it, go get yourself some fuckin depends. as ive said over and over, the cd is decent, yes, who the hell says someone cant critique something and still like it, and aside from those 4 songs, thats what i based the rating off of. The minute I listened to those songs I thought to myself it was a different band, that shit aint Chili Peppers, im sorry. I got people tellin me to turn up fuckin Zeppelin when I play Wet Sand.

I think the sputnik community (people) has already stated that they do not think the songs are a rip off (disagreeing with you). For the most part the members of this community are very competent musicians/music critics whose opinions might (I don't know) be weighted a little more than say a poll done by spin magazine.
The idea of arguing with this character is rather ridiculous for the reason iarescientists laid out earlier.
