Never got into this band. Thought I would love them because the song miami rules however TLF bored me to tears.

oh god inhaler is not good
it's sounds like brand new type of angst but in a bad, cheaper way with some stupidly reverberated vocals like forreal

Inhaler is literally the only song by them that sounds like that. Maybe "What went down" could be called a bit similar.

Also lol at anyone who called TLF boring.

Holy Fire was more diverse, but at the same time simplified and sounding the most like indie/pop of their four main releases. It's a great album though, only slightly behind Antidotes. Late Night and Milk & Black Spiders are the best on there.

Ocean you don't dig this?

it's not that I don't like it so much as it is that I'd never go out of my way to listen to stuff like this. it doesn't stick out as particularly brilliant to me but I've never been too keen on super polished indie so I don't have the right palette, so to speak, to appreciate it...

they're definitely talented musicians, though.

'and no TLF isn't best its just the "ok boys lets cater directly to the kind of people who go to sasquatch music festival every year" of foals'

Haha this killed me. I don't care much for that album. It seems to get a ton of love on this site though.

I don't think this deserves more than a 4 tbh. And I'm a big fan of the band since the Antidotes demos.

Concerning TLF, I found it incredibly boring at first, probably because I expected a new Antidotes. Then, it grew on me and ended up being one of my favorite indie records ever. I can understand it's not everyone's cup of tea though.

I really like only the first three tracks here, don't really care for the rest of them. meh. Antidotes was a really cool album tho.
