I think I had this album at 5 when it came out and AF were one of my favorite bands back then. Then I dropped it to 3.5, probably to differentiate my past taste. Now I gave it another listen after the years and I'd say it's a solid 4. It is a flawed album and in a way it didn't live up to the hype upon its release, but the highs (Dark Water, Pyre, Howls, Bemoan) are very very high indeed.
