Seen Frank four times as of October 3rd. It's just a big, drunken singalong, and Frank is so conversational and you can tell he loves interacting with the crowd.

He's really rather good, Sowing. Would like to see him again, and perhaps with Mongol Horde too.

English singer-songwriter Frank Turner - with his backing band The Sleeping Souls - use an extremely apt title for their 6th LP 'Positive Songs for Negative People'. Arguably the inverse of predecessor 'Tape Deck Heart', most of the 12 tunes present on this Butch Walker produced album are energetic, Springsteen-influenced rockers with anthemic choruses. Rather unsubtle, the utterly direct lyrics used will turn off some listeners. As earnest as they come, the feel-good nature of this consistent & cohesive record borders on cheesy, but there's something just so engagingly likable about it all. Recommended Tracks: The Next Storm, Josephine, Get Better & Song for Josh.

Pretty unfamiliar with this guy but I heard samples off this and loved it (reminded me of the latest Smith Street) so I'll probably download this first so I can build up to the "good stuff". Excited for that

Seeing frank turner is on my bucket list
He's supposedly legendary
I saw him earlier this year in Melbourne. Absolutely fantastic. Seemed like he and his band were having just as much fun as the audience. Also, Frank himself seems like a total bro.

Gave this a few more listens today and yesterday and I can honestly say I enjoy it more now than when it dropped, not sure what clicked but something must have.

I never dug this as much as Tape Deck Heart, but Get Better is pretty much S-tier for getting over rejection, so cheers to that

I think this album gets a lot better with time, as opposed to other frank albums which are great but end up feeling so much more "of their time"
