Such a ruthless debut album! Seemann is a masterpiece. I'd put this at at 2 or 3 in the discog, lately Mutter and Sehnsucht battle it out for the top spot, but all of their work is so good that I'm always shuffling these around.

From the jump, they let you have it with 4 straight absolute ripping tracks, let you breath with Seemann, then as you're in awe, letting the atmosphere wash over you, its a sledgehammer over your stupid unsuspecting head with Du Riechst So Gut. I love it.
