both their albums are so good but its not the kind of music i can have come up on my shuffle on my phone so i dont know how to rate it. they're really, really good as albums and i can flow through them but individually idk
3.5/5 maybe? but i like it more than that. IM CONFLICTED

It's either a 4 or 4.5 for me as of now. I'll def have to check out her previous album too.

She's such a good singer

I'm a bit conflicted on this album. While the lyrics and her singing are great, and the instrumentals are very good, it doesn't all really connect. Maybe it'll grow on me a bit more. Definitely a very solid listen nonetheless.

This album just didn't feel as emotionally raw to me, which is what attracted me the most about Get Disowned

I haven't heard that. From what I gather, it is more like "Happy to See Me" than the rest of the tracks here. Is that accurate? Because that's probably my favorite song on this.

I don't remember which song that is off the top of my head, but I just thought that this was a disappointing follow up to their debut LP.

That's the acoustic song which is definitely more raw than the rest of the album.

not the way to follow up Get Disowned but really what is
|
| |
i think this is a great followup but it bears that sophomore stereotype of being a transition into a more familiar, traditional sound than that of the debut. i mean this is a fantastic album but get disowned is more special for lack of a better term; get disowned was like "this is get disowned" whereas this is kinda like "oh hop along are doing this now"

the albums are completely interchangeable for me. you could jumble them all together and i would not know which song is from which album. it's just a good style.
