This is growing off me a lot. I can't get through much of the first half anymore.

"And it was his 2nd worst album"

I agree, but still criticizing Tyler for having DG influence is silly when people as big as Kanye are doing it more obviously.

What is your point? We can criticize both for this horrendous influence.

im not saying i dont like dg but their style doesnt mesh with what a lot of other artists bring to the table and it just doesnt work usually when they try to mimic them

dude you cant honestly say that its a noticeable trend thats taking over "the scene" lol.

although the concept of death grips taking over hip hop is a hilariously awesome premise its certainly not very realistic.

so basically, get real bro.

im sorry that only 8 out of 10 rap albums are about sippin PURP instead of the 10/10 you'd seem to prefer

Its is if Kanye did it for a whole album. Unfortunately people will follow suit, as artists already are. Even though i loved 'The blacker the bery' i could hear elements of that style. And parts of this album had it as well. Maybe not 'taking over' but its trending, and more artists seem to be jumping on and incorporating it.

the only times I've seen noticeable DG influence was Yeezus and parts of this. Both terribly applied, both should be criticized, but they should be criticized for being poorly applied, and not for just having influence is all I'm trying to say I guess
