I don't get where this through the motions sentiment is coming from, this seems pretty fresh to me.

"Hurrdurr just because everyone else pos'es it doesn't mean i have to follow along. Try and foster some actual debate instead of being a dick. I can see that the history of the band does influence the appeal of the record for some but from an objective stand-point the history of the band is completely irrelevant to the quality of the music on this particular album. It's well written and all but just not enough time is spent talking about the music"
"from an objective stand-point" Good lord stfu what a stupid thing to say

My expectations were set pretty high after Acceptance Speech, but I still really enjoyed this album.

I'll admit that the heavier vocals on this are better than on the first two albums.

kind of ironic for me, I like the clean vocals on the older albums (the first three at least) and didn't like the harsh vocals, but it's the opposite on here. The cleans suck but the harsh vox are good.

Those ratings of 4/5 4.5/5 might lower when the album drops next week, or this album will be the highest rated.

Yeah, that's not really all that bad for a "rise-core" band.

Idk what to rate this right now (need to listen a few more times), but 3.9's not a bad number. Feels about right for an average.
There's a lot to love here.

still loving this album, definitely better than acceptance speech. Lost and Variation are so good. This is probably my 3rd favourite behind DBM and Self-Titled

the rapping on EvC doesn't even seem bad anymore, but the, "We all suck, we were born to fuck this up," is still cringey af.
