This album is an easy 5, it's simply exquisite. Too bad 5 is reserved for Gunther and Crotchduster, so they're getting a 4.5

you know you've done a good job when someone can look at your album art, know exactly what genre it is, and know that its going to be complete shit all in a single glance

its quite pathetic that you feel the need to try and construct a personal insult out of an impersonal one, thats honestly just a huge bitch move.

wow um that was a joke bro im confused as to why you went to the trouble of finding your way to my fb, saving a profile pic that hasn't been changed in over two years and uploading it to a imagehosting site just so you could insult my friends

The cover art for this made me think of stuff like periphery or pendulum's "in silico" - totally not something you'd expect for prog metal, which usually goes more with shit like nature, sunsets etc

lol potsy you need to stay out of these false prog threads, especially if you're gonna get all sensitive suzy over a nothing comment

anyway, it's a shame this album will have any comparison at all to periphery. album cover is awful and the songs are too damn long, but dude can sing and this was pretty enjoyable

@Gore, I'd agree with the Haken comparison, the resemblance is obvious. Pain Of Salvation never were this kind of prog, imo. This has really long tracks, without the partial segments and bridges PoS have, or their heaviness. Neither do they have their special imprint. Fuck it, they don't compare to PoS in any direct way, but for the fact they're both called prog.

404: PoS not found

The guy sings like if the Haken's, Tool's and Rishloo's singer had a really weird lovechild (I'm not gonna go into details)

haha, indeed. With more focus on Haken's singer, but still true. Disc two is great for the late hours.
