From the singles I got an idea where they were going, so it wasn't a big surprise for me.

A lot better than Dum Spiro but I feel like the amazing bits are just that - bits. like 10 second stretches of orgasm, and then a kind of blegh. For example. The main riff on track three is one of the greatest things ever. And when it comes in with those pounding drums near the start of the song, it's perfect. But they don't ride that. You hear it several more times throughout the song but it's part of a chorus or something and the vocals drown out the awesomeness.
Speaking of vocals, as usual the 'normal' vocals are pretty bad, which is typical of visual kei. The growls are fine, but the vocals are their best when the singer sounds like a old japanese woman ghost.

I think it's very effective how they structure most of the songs. Phenomenon sounds dark and weird and has
those short prettier parts in the chorus, and then the ending comes out of nowhere and it all ties together.
They could have played out the more melodic moments for entire songs but I don't think it would have been as
powerful.
And I like everything about the vocals other than I don't know what he's saying ha.

Just bite the bullet, man. It's worth it. The Japanese know how to make gorgeous presentation.

Hell yes, I wouldn't mind purchasing this actually but I've got enough imports under my belt for now.

i saw them last year, kyo sounded damn near spot on! I really really hope it wasn't a recording.
Heard more bands fake their live vocals than you'd think.

I got the normal version via CDJapan.com and it's really cool looking. I would love to see the band live but
they canceled the last show that was supposed to be in my town. It was right after Uroboros came out and
they haven't played a show close to me since then.
I just ordered Kisou and Vulgar via ebay (official copies, not bootlegs), really excited to get those. All I
need is Gauze and Macabre. Of course, they're the most expensive ones...

Sustain the Untruth doesn't sound as good on the album, it all sounds too condensed.
