He's been done making music you guys would enjoy for over a decade now, but he's definitely not done being a force in the underground battle rap scene.
This album is pretty weak though, so many bad hooks ruining all the playback value of the new CD.

the hooks are weak, the raps aren't bad at all, not always great either though.

Was the rhyme in the closing sentence intentional? Wraps up the review perfectly.

This guy stole my review style and used it to insult one of my favorite artists.

Shits calmed down here and I'm about to fall off the front page so, honestly, this isn't even technically impressive. Rapping like this is easy when you're just making shit up.
Remember this from "Drug Ballad"?
"Everything's spinning/You're beginin' to think women are swimming in pink linen again in the sink/Then in a couple of minutes that bottle of Guinness is finished".
That's impressive in the way it rhymes sure but the way he enunciated each word so that it actually sounded like what being under the influence felt like? That's what made it so dazzling. Not just because he shoved a bunch of rhyming words together.

pretty critical for a mixtape

This isn't a mixtape.
|
| |
more like a compilation of several artists.
to be honest, why isn't this under Various Artists if it's not really an Eminem album, but a showcase of the Shady label?
|
| |
This isn't a mixtape.
but really it is

It's not really about how many words he can string together as much as how creative he is with word
plays. It's just fun to listen to. His voice and flow have just never really been on point since
Relapse, and the shitty hooks and boring beats basically destroy this album.
It's honestly amazing this is even decent if you consider how bad the hooks and beats are.

Mixtapes are usually free and use recycled beats, this album is just bad enough to be mistaken as a mixtape.
|
| |
he's done the Shade 45 mixtape shit for a long time
this is basically the same thing with a little more money thrown at it
