The closest the new album gets to this is Boat to an Island on the Wall, there's a lot of anthemic choruses and epic guitar hooks on this album, the new one isn't like that in the slightest, it's much more acoustic and hazy. I'd say this is a little better but the songwriting on the new one is still spectacular

yeah i'm kinda getting that vibe from the singles that it's a far more relaxed affair, still not 100% on how they've done his vocals on the 3 I've heard but I'm optimistic, this record was a huge grower so I imagine (or hope anyway) that the same will happen with the new one.
