I just remember never finding this to be as engaging, and wishing they kept at least some of their screamo vibes. Not to mention I saw them live twice, once was after TLLA after came out, and then after this and the energy difference was so huge. Didn't even seem like the same band live, couldn't help but be disappointed

this was my first exposure to them so yeah i had 0 preconceived notions. love the builds on this and emotional quiet delivery. very slowcore-ish. and the lyrics on this are really nice. i'll have to rev this someday and get my side out there haha. and it was so much better than most emo revival dreck at the time that this really peaked my ears.

I totally get the love for it, just never resonated with me like some folks. Still has some amazing moments. Forgot just how good 'Lesions' is, easily up there with my fav material from them.
