good review though, and great album. i mean its same old same old, and some of the riffs sound way too familiar, but you know, Electric Wizard. m/

Eh, fair enough. Might edit that when I get the chance. I have a strange feeling that you might dig this, Funeral.

"Be it the mournful, depressing vocals from Jus Oborn"

Oborn's vocals are more angry and twisted.

Mournful would be Johan Längqvist from Candlemass

Nice review, dude. Picked up the vinyl of this one. The vibe on this album is exactly what I like from The Wizard. I personally loved Witchcult Today and Black Masses (the songwriting on Black Masses was excellent, but the production was not that great. With the return of Mark Greening on drums, and heavier tone on the guitar and bass, it gives that old Wizard vibe ala Come My Fanatics/Dopethrone, but then keeps the occult and horror vibe of Witchcult. So, to me, it's a good mix of old and new wizard in one spliff. Also, We Live is underrated album. One of their best in my opinion. Cheers Dude!

Fucking aye, brother! It's been awhile. Been busy with the band, touring, booking, and all kinds of shit. We are going to be in Chicago on October 24th at the Cobra Lounge. You should try to make it, if you can!

I just could never really get into Electric Wizard, they never did the stoner/doom thing nearly as well as
Sleep did, IMO.

Come, My Fanatics was the only album by them I ever liked.

CMF and Dopethrone are better than any Sleep album
