Fuck.
RIP

He was no doubt our biggest fan and aside from that the most passionate guy I knew when it came to music and writing about music. He came to me to start a new screamo project 6 mo. ago and I couldn't get around to it until a few weeks ago. Instrumentally it is done and he was JUST starting lyrics 2 nights ago. Going to see it through and finish it in dedication to him with the lyrical intent he originally planned, by vocal committee through a few different screamo vocalists and myself. RIP to an amazing guy.

Looking forward to that project

I don't jam much new music anymore but I'm definitely jamming that

Just realised what this means ^ … I didn’t know there was a ‘musical connection’ between Cara Neir and The Spirit / Brandon. RIP
|

For sure. All good! Yeah, Brandon I feel was Cara Neir's biggest fan. This album originally was meant to have him on vocals as an outlet. I think musically and sonically, it's a logical continuation of the Part III / Part IV album.
