I don't know who these lads are but damn... that's one killer artwork.

Check their other artworks man, they're all awesome, apart from maybe Abducting the Unicorn...
If you fused the first half of All The Wars with the best tracks on this, you'd get 1 killer album

Don't Tell Me is a little lame at times, especially the lyrics. Overall though I'm enjoying this more than I thought I would and is slightly better than All The Wars so far

Yeah, around a 3.3 for me right now. Not sure I like it as much as ATW though, nothing hits the levels of Burning Pieces or Last Man Standing

Nothing indeed, even Warm Seas and the title-track beat everything on this without question for me.
Don't Tell Me is a highlight for me here though, although it's pretty lame lyrically, it's a great song

The middle 4 or 5 are the best on here, this is sitting at a 3.7 currently

Not gonna bother rating this. I'll just pretend it doesn't exist

Not digging this Choccy?

It was a grower for me, so maybe after a couple of listens you'll dig more.
My rating probably won't go higher than a 3.5 though; the album has a certain appeal, but there's still many
flaws, and the some tracks toward the end are completely unnecessary. From Me might actually be a serious
contender for worst TPT track
|
| |
No, not really. I mean, I'm preferring the new alt-j much more and that's nothing special.
I get the appeal, but it's not really my thing sadly. Last track is cool however

I like this more than All The Wars on first listen, and this is infinitely more interesting than the new Alt-J which just bored me more every time I listen to it
|
| |
Not surprised. You seem to be on this massive alt rock resurgence right now anyway, talons
But seriously, this pales in comparison to their best work

Well yeah it's definitely not on the same level than Little Man and even What Have We Sown?, but it's still
great in my opinion. I'm quite disappointed by the lack of longer songs for sure, since their style seems to
be best fitted within the range of 5-10 minutes songs. And while it's nothing groundbreaking, it's for the
most part very well-crafted alternative rock.

Are Alt-j actually any good? I just assumed they were plebby alt-rock judging by who listens to them at my school

^I just reviewed their new album, give it a go but definitely start with their debut An Awesome Wave
|
| |
Yeah, it's definitely worth the listen and the popularity makes sense in my opinion.
I mean, they're not the second coming but they're still great

The first listen of this was pretty underwhelming sadly. I like them but nothing really stood out. I'm feeling a 2.5 or 3, but I'm gonna hold off rating until I give it 3-4 more spins. It's a shame.

I think this album, so far, is good! Little above average. Great drive in the album. More straight forward than before, but I like
it.

This is growing on me a lot. It may actually outrank Someone Here is Missing, which is currently my favorite PT album. "The One You Left to Die", "Sense of Fear", and "Bond" are some of the best material I've heard from them. I hope this ages well down the line. We shall see.
