Well yeah I suppose I buy a lot of records in general and figured maybe this becomes better when listened to on vinyl rather than some piss quality streams.

we're kidding ourselves if we try to pretend turn on the bright lights doesn't loom ominously over everything this band does. the pitchfork piece did a wonderful job summing up what "Interpol" is in 2014, which is that band that released an all-time classic and two albums later started shitting the bed. You can't ignore that context listening to any new material they have. And this album is pretty mediocre, though not atrocious. feel like im takin crazy pills when i come here to talk about it.

I won't bother carrying on the argument as I can tell we're both pretty frustrated with each others

viewpoint. We'll never agree on Interpol post totbl, but we'll always have those times.

From this perspective, from this position

I have a good grip on both of them

Because I have stayed home and have learned a little more about my neighbourhood, which is important

You know, there's a lot of good places to eat

So it goes pow, pow, pow, pow, pow, pow, pow, pow, pow

Pow, pow, pow, pow, pow, pow, pow, pow, pow
