Ye I thought that, kinda doesn't really go anywhere and feels void of any energy.

Agreed xing, ruby is probably my favorite actually

I was somewhat disappointed on the first listen, but in the five days I've had this album I can't seem to stop playing it multiple times a day. I think it's one of their weaker albums, but still at least a 4.0 because comparing it to the rest of their albums is kind of not even fair.
My personal rankings as of right now, subject to change. Future, Buddy would be higher if it wasn't for the goddamn counting!
1. G2G
2. Wide Open
3. Penguin Marlon Brando
4. 1995
5. Stargazer
6. Will You Be Tomorrow
7. Ruby Cumulous
8. Meow, Meow
9. Future, Buddy
10. Set Fire To The Ocean

Prob about a 3.7 for me, although Mandala is sounding FAR better.
|
| |
Mandala is a more thorough stab at the kind of music RX have been honing in on lately. On the flip side this is more to-the-point, and I think is a more accessible record for those who aren't too familiar with the band.

Settled on a four. This is just too enjoyable.

I listened to these guys for the first time a few weeks ago and started with Mandala. It was great, but kind if hard to sit through until the end. I can easily play this album all the way through though.
