i listened to a couple of songs from that plebeian grandstand album and they seemed interesting but didn't have time for more and then i kinda forgot about it. need to jam it more
and yeah, this really isn't as special as you guys make it out to be but i still like this a lot

I suppose that depends what you are looking for. both are executed really well, but this album has so many more interesting ideas that keep you coming back than Black Monolith does (which, albeit good, is a lot more forgettable imo). I think that this slays on Black Monolith, but it's perfectly fine for you to be gravely mistaken ^^.
