It's not dude, give it some time. Obviously, this is better, but songs like Lost Youth or I Was Terrible are fantastic.

I love Lost Youth and Salt Song, the rest is either average or bad imo
I could see it being a grower but there's so much amazing music out recently and coming tomorrow that I probably won't pick it up again for a while unfortunately

I see what you mean - Danny Brown, Alcest, Yellowcard, Nick Cave and lots of other stuff. I just approach my favorite artists in sort of a different way; I give their albums way more spins before they click. And it was often very rewarding.
