This is more interesting than the Hunter imo which was solid but lacking some of that Mastodon magic that this recaptures a little more. Both are bottom tier Don though

Sounding a little better on second listen but where is the grit? Most of these riffs are so streamlined and don't really have distinct 'Mastodon' qualities to them.



It is undoubtedly catchy but I miss the grit and power from releases like Leviathan and Remission :/

I see exactly what Pleb is saying. With each release they're going more mainstream I say. I'd even say this is more into the mainstream then The Hunter but just much better executed.
