man this is great. the bird and the snake is incredible stuff. love when the go longer with soft parts, definitely where they shine. east to west and father's bargain are really great as well. very thrice-y. vocals really take this up a notch. both of them are great.

I really do wish they continued that aggression with their later albums tbh, it's what made this album so good. Types and Shadows goes waaay to much into the Thrice direction.

Eclipse and Eulogies are more or less typical melodic metalcore stuff, nothing really that special but again there's something refreshing about it and the performances are still great.
