I kind of wanted to review this, but I'll just look like an douche doing one before its release date with there already being 4 lickity split reviews already

Completely agree with you. This album just didn't work. They should've sticked with the sound they had on Living Things.
|
| |
Tbh will be perfect if they added some nu metal scratching and the effects of mr hahn used in cure for the itch and session
|
| |
In my opinion, Living Things was terrible. I liked A Thousand Suns more. It was spacey and experimental, but still not bad.

This is terrible. They're grasping at straws
now, desperately trying to bring back the glory
days by dumbing down their already simple
sound. This kind of music appeals to the
lowest common denominator.
Except Vern. He's the exception.

Thanks shit, I guess, lol.
Prefer more LT than ATS, ats was full of boring interludes and most of the songs well souless, had good points and a good concept but it wasn't very well executed

ATS' concept was shit thanks to those interludes. But it was ambitious and the Catalyst was a great track, I'll give it that.

Well, you did give it a 1. To each their own.

Worse was MTM,ATS and recharged, and there are far worse albums than the ones mentioned.

You know what I've noticed on the linkin park reviews? You fanboys never discuss the album nor the review for it, but how shitty the albums before it were.

Well, Arcade took my comment personally.

Well, let discuss the album, is still epic as hell. A line in the sand and guilty all the same are
pure magic, both are sounds created by gods in the heaven;keys to kingdom and war are the most in
your
face tracks made by lp, mark the graves was ats done with emotion and legit guitars and rebellion
has
malakian and a legit scream from chester. lolololololololololololol. Even weak tracks like
wastelands
and until its gone are better than stuff like leave it out the rest, robot boy, in between, the
messenger, lies greed misery or skin to bone which are awful, lolololololololololololo

I'm a huge fan of LP yet I don't think they're perfect. It's not like I gave their first two albums and this one a 5.

Calm down tresm87, yeah most of them are chavs, neds. But also, I think that the the twats who rate
this with 1 or 1,5 cuz they can't deal with the high ratings and can't give a coherent reason or a
constructive criticism are just miserable worms who were raped when they were children, besides they
usually tried to be cool to fit and to get pussy and of course they failed ( that's because they try
to be cool embracing the lamest trends like the emo and the shitty hipster trend), besides they quit
school and nowdays they are junkies with no work, no education, and finally I'm sure that chester
and mike forced them to hear the whole LP discogrpahy, so that's the reason why they are so angry
with LP and with their miserable lifestyle.
Of course there are exceptions( Curse and a couple of other guys), but the vast amount of detractors
are just part of the scum, met some vicious lp detractors in school, nowdays they have 3 and 4
chidren and they live in a miserable house in the poor suburbs of nottingham and their future is
bleak ( the sad fact is that those poor and worthelss detractors are just 22 years old)

I honestly think this album is a contrived mess and a cheap way of grabbing hold of their old fan base.

I thought the fake 5s would've stopped by now but apparently the sputnikmusic overall rating of an album matters this much to people who have already listened to and enjoyed it.
