I mean it is rock music smh

SeaAnemone, don't know if I understood what you were saying. But if you were saying that this album isn't original enough to
have a unique experience with, like the rock quarry, then I disagree. This album has everything, not just rock, not just
ambient, not just post-punk, but really everything. So it doesn't deserve, in my opinion, the same experience as the I gave the
last black Keys album.

good to hear man. love seeing listeners be able to go back and listen to an album and completely change their perception on it -- open-mindedness is cool.

i'm always down to challenge my opinions, especially strong ones. enjoying the new trophy scars was also a big surprise that wouldnt have happened if i was too stubborn to listen to it with an open mind. i also have plans to drop acid and listen to Trout Mask Replica with a friend of mine who loves it on vinyl. I mean I've listened to that album like 10 times and its one of my most hated albums ever but tastes change and timing is always important so I'm giving it another honest go with him.
