Meatplow is such a good opener. One of my favourite STP songs.

Pretty much a perfect album, the only flaw (if you can call it that) is that it sounds quite polished, but even so I think the style of production/mixing suits (most of) the songs.

Highlights for me ; Meat plow, Lounge fly, Vasoline, Army ants, Pretty penny, Still remains Big empty and... actually they're ALL highlights.

I love the little AiC vibe going on in the main riff of Silvergun Superman, stunning chorus as well.

Silvergun Superman is great. The main riff is sort of similar to AiC (reminds me of Helmet as well), though the chorus is classic STP.

Absolutely, Willie bud. One of their most underrated tunes, and their best album.

Always had a soft spot for Army Ants, such a tremendous drive. This album is a beast, 2nd best STP for me.

No. 4 is my favorite by far. I know it's considered to be one of their weakest on here but for me it's almost perfect. Deep n' dirty, that's how I like it :]

I've only heard the first three albums so far, No. 4 is up next. As of now, Purple is my favorite and will be hard to beat.

No 4. Is solid, but for me it lives up to it's name in terms of order in STP's discog. Special mention to Sour Girl though, what a song.

First three tracks on No.4 are insanely strong with Down being such a powerful opener followed by the kickass Heaven & Hot Rods. Other highlights def are the already mentioned Sour Girl and Atlanta as well as I Got You. And of course No Way Out is one of STP's best and darkest songs ever, love it to death.

No. 4 is a great album, though the mastering is louder than the first three and it doesn't sound as good. No Way Out is insanity. So good.

As for Shangri-La-Dee-Da...it's pretty good, but once again the sound quality is worse. The only STP album I don't like is their self-titled album which they made after reuniting. It's quite terrible in my opinion.
