personally while the music here can easily be classified as "sad" i've never felt depressed or worse than i did before when listening to it, if anything it's comforting and as someone who struggles/has struggled with depression and feelings of alienation it's more therapy than anything else.
not to mention the way this band expresses themselves musically is extremely beautiful.

Jenn Ghetto. Superhero and Sofisticated are entirely her, she does the guitar and vocals. If you're looking for more songs like that check her solo album Sadstyle. In my opinion it's not as good as anything this band has released but some people prefer it. It was also written and recorded around the time this came out so it shares the same sound and lyrical themes.
