I've 5d all 3 of their LPs but I fear that glorious streak is over. Production on this is frustrating and the band sounds like they don't "get" Andy's lyrics anymore. I'll still give it a 4 at least but dayyum.

also i just noticed that in leaky breaks andy sounds like he listened to good news by modest mouse way too much which im kind of okay with but it just isn't that good

Yeah Andy suffers from the same thing as Jesse Lacey eg both started out as fantastic straightforward lyricists and got more stupidly cryptic as time went on
Having said that Hull's lyrics are still pretty great unlike the bullshit on Daisy
