"Growing up the iTunes download was super horrible quality, which makes me appreciate this even more than I normally do lol"
I had to look up the samples of the iTunes version. My gosh it does sound awful. If anyone wants to download this from iTunes the best way is purchasing the 2009 compilation of their first three albums. That one sounds like the CD version as far as I can tell from the samples.

I finished a discog run and can finally confirm that this is their only good album. The newest EP is great tho too.

No, but I thought Vital was extremely mid so I'm not inclined to hear it.

The only thing I don't like about this album is that "Personal" is used colloquially as an adverb in the title in place of "Personally". Really dumb pet peeve but it always gets to me.

Get low, the whole album and song is based on a real life conversation. Stephen was mad and didnt care about grammar. The liner notes start off with "you told me to write a song about it"

Also, I was thinking yesterday, we get too hung up on proper grammar. Communication is the goal and if you get the same point of understanding with incorrect grammar and no misunderstanding then there is no reason to correct bad grammar

True. Especially in lyrics it doesn't need to be perfect. If he sang "never take friendship personally" in the chorus of the opener it wouldn't sound right.

Can’t believe they’re doing a 20-year anniversary tour for this without Stephen. So lame. That said, I’m interested cause Copeland will be playing In Motion in full lol

same exact thoughts, Nash. I actually felt kinda bad for the new vocalist after reading the Facebook comments, he's getting absolutely torn a new asshole even though this is the rest of the band's decision too

And honestly I don’t blame him. Like he loves the band and wanted to fill in and that’s great for him. If they want to move forward with him despite me as a fan not vibing that is more than fine. However, don’t try to cash in on nostalgia bait without the main course being involved lol
