If this wasn't pandering to so many trends, then I'd at least consider Issues' self-titled debut an inoffensive piece of work. {sigh} Admittedly, I find The Settlement to be a jam and a half.

tbh this is just generic and boring more than anything else. Tired metalcore mixed with tired R'n'B to create an uninspiring blend.
Admittedly I managed to have a little bit of fun watching them live, but that was mostly just because the pits were good.

Sounds like a blast guys, idk

'well these guys day in the spotlight is done'
I hope so, but I doubt it. as far as I can tell they're at the top of their scene. all it will take is their screamer fucking off or the mainstream to get a little more comfortable with harsh vocals, which is already happening slowly, and they'll cross over. watch

I ended up listening to half the disc - the right question would be why, but at least I can write a snarky sound off.

Hysterical review. This current wave of 'metalcore' really needs to die soon.

I don't really actually have a problem with all the elements they used, it's just that very little is all that memorable, and a good bit is straight up bad.

Some of it works yeah but theres just so many bad moments. Its not outright unlistenable but the melding of styles doesnt work that well imo
