Crystallized and Daydreamer are the only two songs I really dislike, the rest is okay to good.

Bastille won me over through sheer weight of hits rather than replay value.
I think 'Crystallized' is the type of song that will be a highlight for some & lowlight for others.

My favorite thing about Bastille was his use of falsetto. I also enjoyed how his accent popped through in his vocals.
I still need to learn track names from this.

Had to bump this up to a 4.5...been jamming this a ton lately. Fantastic album, really. Anagram is just amazing, along with Mind Over Matter and Eros. Just a damn good album, and I have a feeling I'll be listening to this a lot more.

Bad Blood and Flaws, and Things We Lost in the Fire.
For a debut, it isn't too shabby

No not at all. I love Things We Lost in the Fire, except for the chorus being repeated a few too many times.

They went six singles deep in the UK.
Add seven for Of the Night

Your 2 avatars are too similar. I thought it was one of you posting comment after comment!
I do enjoy Dan's accent on that Bastille LP. As I said above, just the sheer amount of singles on that album wowed me. It was a little similar with The 1975.
Wow, a 4.5 dmp.

A lot of people hated them, but I almost had the feeling it was more because of the people within the band themselves. Personally, I wouldn't know what they looked like if they bumped into me on the street.

Well except for the teenage girls who worship Matt Healy because they think they're cool digging something as un-popular as them.

I never listened to 1975. Not even sure if I have heard of them before, actually.
Have you guys heard Broken Bells and/or Haim? I have enjoyed both of their latest pretty well, too.

I was surprised at how much I have been liking Broken Bells.
The Haim album is fun, but I could see it getting old fairly quick.
