i dont think a song needs to be extremely techy to sound good, its all up to the writers. tho i found that vid to be sort of amusing and the song is alright imo

Yeah Disconnect is definitely the best track on here. It doesn't seem to mesh with the rest of the album imo. Like all their attention was on that track, and the rest were just lazily put together in a short time.

Band never has any staying power for me but it's fun while it lasts.

i agree nine summers is brilliant. neo seoul and disconnect do it for me as well. the rest of the album doesn't really have much otherwise.

Eh. Pretty anti-climactic, honestly. And i hate writing that, because I love these guys. They are one of my favorite bands. I've seen them a bunch of times, 2 nights in a row on 2 separate occasions. Never get tired of it. I have listened to Wolves Within some more, and I wasn't as disappointed as I was the first time around. There are definitely some solid songs on this album. Anti-Pattern, Of Fearful Men, Neo Seoul, Nine Summers are all great. A Wolf Amongst Ravens is awesome. That's almost half the album, so it's definitely listenable. I love this band no matter what, I just wasn't blown away.

It gets boring rather fast, but it's fun to listen to still.

Not the best djent album of the world. But still a fun LP crafted by seven string guitar and cool polyrhytms. Please people, I don't want to see you derpin more. Try to got djent and the world will be a better place, lolololo

This band always has shit production jobs. They need to stop producing themselves.
They had to remaster one bc it sounded so bad. In Dreams just sounded like a product of the time, overproduced djent (album itself was great), this is no different. Guitars are getting too low and are muddying the mix up. When you have guitars and bass starting to play in the same territory and trying to play along with drums it gets weird.
