Nothing beats the quest in Anvil where you're invited for a spot of naughty barn house fun by a nord robber lady at the local pub.

Also, if you're a fan of the series, you've gotta get this: http://www.amazon.com/Elder-Scrolls-Anthology-Pc/dp/B00E9I1FPI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426107477&sr=8-1&keywords=elder+scrolls+anthology+mac
(I think it's only available for PC though)

"ye its just the best game ever and all"
if you've only played 1 game, sure
|
| |
captain america and the avengers on sega genesis is the best game ever made. either that or i'm just stoned.

You're just stoned.
Castlevania Symphony of the Night is probably the best, but I might just be beefshoes.
|
| |
i've yet to try that one. the castlevanias on SNES and genesis are good but not amazing to me.
thief 1 & 2 are some of the most smartly designed games ever. best first person stealth games i've found. the 2014 thief kinda sucked in comparison

Oblivion is the most diverse though, Morrowind and Skyrim are really similar
what in the fuck
|
| |
i don't get how anyone could say that. the geography is as bland as it gets
|
| |
seriously its just generic medievil setting and the oblivion realm parts were all the fucking same god that game got so boring dno why i even finished the storyline

And yes morrowind and skyrim are pretty similar, both are bleaker and even right next to each other on Nirn, so makes sense
|
| |
Theres a lot of diversity landscape wise on Morrowind. You had everything from The Ashlands, Grazelands and Bitter Coast.

Morrowind and Skyrim are diverse, all of the games are. But their landscapes are bleaker and more similar to each other compared to Cyrodiil. Oblivion (not the hellish alternate world, the main game setting) has the reputation of being the warmest, most accessible setting of all of them. The music reflects that as well. Morrowind and Skyrim even share a lot of the exact same songs for their soundtracks because the composer knew both games had so many similar qualities.

| |
morrowind is arguably the best ES game imo and skyrim was a return to form. the shared aesthetics are a big part of why i loved it

And then you have Tamriel Rebuilt that adds the entire continent of Morrowind; not just Vvardenfell. It's fucking unbelievable.
|
| |
Morrowind is my personal fav, so much nostalgia
Can't really get into the story of Oblivion though, even if they got Patrick Stewart and Sean Bean to voice in it.

Beefshoes is killing me with these mods, I might have to get a windows pc just for all this shit. I'm dying for more elder scrolls content after exhausting the main installments. Anyone here play elder scrolls online? It worth getting?
|
| |
I heard it was kind of a failure for them and the word of mouth I've heard hasn't been good, but I dunno. Mods added another 120 hours to Skyrim for me. You can go nuts with that stuff but once in a while you'll run into compatability issues between mods and having too many can make it unstable. Still, it's worth it if you really want more TES

I haven't played TESO Talons, but I know for a fact that it's available for Mac.
I think that they're getting rid of the pay-to-play model and if that's the case, I might also look into it.
Yeah, mods can be especially clunky with Morrowind but they're not too bad with Skyrim (assuming that your PC has some power behind it and there aren't hundreds installed).

I know it's available for Mac, they're releasing it on consoles too soon I believe. But yeah I've heard pretty mixed things about it and I think sales weren't that great, I'm pretty sure they're even getting rid of the monthly fee
|
| |
TESO is NOT worth getting. Even though they got rid of that 15$ monthly fee, it still sucks.
