Looking at the comments here only continues to cement my statement that Death Grips is undoubtedly one of the most dividing acts to currently exist. You pretty much love or hate it. It's extremely hard to find any middle ground at all. To people who don't like it, I don't think you are 'pleb' at all. It's ridiculously inaccessible. If you do like DG, then you simply experienced that same phenomenon I experience when I listen to EM, TMS, or NLDW. You feel transported and immersed in the vividly painted picture they present of absolutely primal, unrestrained depravity. To be honest, this album did not paint the same picture for me, it didn't cause any transcendental experience of immersion like The Money Store did for me - but I found it a pretty fun listen anyway. Solid beats, solid effects, and not half bad rap delivery from MC Ride. I don't want them to remake TMS or ExMilitary.. but I wish they would tap back into whatever the hell they did on those, because they were so good.

Being as this is my first Death Grips album I went into it pretty motivated knowing all the hullabaloo surrounding them, I came out of the first track extremely bored and uninterested and it sounded like this band wasn't for me, I continued listening and towards the end found that I actually really enjoyed it, Kind of a surprising one but I still really don't get why people are comparing this to yeezus.
