Hard. Everyone goes there at least, though.

I swear the vocal melody on the chorus of recover is straight up ripped from an avril lavigne (or one of those early oughts pop-stars, I think it's avril though) song, but whatever. Still great. Love the album.

ahhh yep heard that one.

im not the biggest fan because.. her vocals are too good lol.

i dunno if that makes sense or not. they are too clean & too fast for my taste in synthpop.

Man, this really is a good listen. A great mixture of 80s and modern day electronic.

This album is really addicting.

Gun, Lies, Lungs, and Science/Visions are so good.

Has anyone mentioned the fact that Iain Cook is one of the guys from Aereogramme? Because that's crazy to me.

You won't find many here familiar with Aereogramme. I actually don't find it that surprising, Glasgow's music scene is really tight-knit. There's lots of musicians involved with all sorts of different projects.

I guess it's just that as good as Aereogramme and the Unwinding Hours were, they weren't very accessible projects. Good to see him having more success.

The Unwinding Hours are still going, aren't they?

I usually love this sort of stuff, but even I start to feel like I'm sugar crashing after a few songs. First three tracks are gold, then it kind of crams itself into its own monochromatic little bubble. Not enough variety, not enough teeth....they sound too comfortable in their skin for their own good.

@AliW They had an album last year, so I'm assuming they're still around. Bad phrasing on my part.
