Okay so I have listened to this a lot more and it kicks ass. But a few of the songs aren't amazing, so I don't think it exceeds Garden Window.

I thought Garden Window was an excellent debut but IMO this takes everything that was great about GW to a whole new level. GW has a few songs I don't care for like Bear and Last Breath (not to mention Machines part 2 is only cool the first couple times you hear it than its just kinda like "been there done that"). What songs do you not like off Disillusion?

Not too fond of Perilous Love and Transience. The rest is plenty good though. I actually love Bear and Last Breath.

Perilous Love sounds like Queens of the Stone Age kinda. It's good but it's one of the worst on the album and I don't like Transience too much either.
My favorite songs off this would have to be the epic title track, path of folly + Oblivion, and Context. I still don't really know what to think of the opening track.

Yeah the opening track kind of sets a weird tone and doesn't really fit on here... it makes you think they are gonna go in a weird direction... but then is like ... nah we just jokes

Perilous Love is veryvery average imo, Transience is cool though just because it adds a bit of pace between Oblivion and the t/t
This is more cohesive and focused than Garden Window...but Lo, Poison!, Lay Down, Easy Talk and Cleanse Me are leagues ahead of it
