I'm like a year late with this and I'm sure a lot of you already know, but 3/5 of Crash reformed as Holding Patterns and are now recording for their first LP. Get excited, sput.

Jim, Draper and Oli. The band's called Holding Patterns. Birkin's off doing solo stuff and composing work, fuck knows what Beal's up to.

Aw, too bad Birkin's not in it, I guess they had a quarrel of some sort?
Good to hear the other ones are aboard though, solid musicians!

Could be, I don't think they ever went into too much detail on the breakup. But yeah, I'm just happy they're making music together again.

Holding Patterns' At Speed sounds like a mix of Crash of Rhinos and Blink 182. I like the Crash of Rhinos part.

Distal's been one of my favorite albums for years, but this one is finally growing on me like crazy the past few days

Yeah it's crazy, better than Distal for me, it's more intricate and, dare I say, proggier.

It's stylistically pretty different, but the guitars are still beautiful and the songwriting is engaging. I think this one just took me more listens to fully appreciate.

This is great, I like Distal more but this has grown well
