I never found Ozzy's voice to be too nasally. Compare his vocals to M Shadows and I'm sure you won't find them to be so bad after all.

M Shadows isn't even a metal vocalist, A7X are just mediocre Hard Rock at most. Just showing that there is much worst than Ozzy's vocals, although the Sabbath lineup did have other excellent vocalists like Dio and Ian Gillian.This Message Edited On 01.13.09

Ozzy has an atonal wail that works well with Black Sabbath's early period, but it doesn't go far beyond that.
Dio's voice is much more melodramatic and emotionally faceted. He's much more flexible. And of course he obeys the rule of rock/metal vocalists that the shorter you are, the bigger your voice.
