I think that Hans was right when he said that BMF does have better highs than this.
Having said that, I prefer this because I feel they diversified more on here.
DotU is prob their most diverse record, but I just don't consider it as consistent as this. Just my opinion ofc.

Soungarden. "Tighter and Tighter" and "An Unkind" are my favorite Soundgarden songs sooooooo....

They basically ran the gamut from being a hardcore-punk + 70's hard rock band to being an experimental rock band. So many classic songs, many of them not remembered.

@Ars: yeah, "An Unkind" is def one of my faves on DotU, if not my fave.
Only least strong moments on here are "Half", "Black Hole Sun" and maybe "Kickstand" imo. And I even like those parts, they fit well within the album imo.

the only thing with this album is that it's so damn long, and I have a bonus track for australia (m/) so it ends up being almost 75 minutes
and that's why badmotorfinger will always be my fav

BMF is far, far different from this. It probably has Cornell's best vocal moments, also some of Thayil's best riffs.
It's more of a straight-up metal kinda record, almost anyways.
