Yeah. I wasn't a big fan of the debut as well. I mean, I like certain tracks but there are also a couple that annoy me.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to bump mine down as well.

Usually I criticize your grumpy nature but I love you right now.

Drake's new song is good but everything else he's done has been pretty awful

Idk his new song. Not sure I want to since his voice makes me cringe.

Plus, Drake actin' like he's hot shit is the equivalent of German gangster rap. I despise the latter with a passion, it's worse than the worst of U.S. rap.

I have to say, the existence of German gangster rap is exciting to me. Like the existence of k-garage.

J-grunge is pretty sweet.

The album is still growing on me. "Retrograde" has kicked ass since its release though and sounds even better in the context of the album. Probably the best song of the year at this point.

good review. i'd try to trim a bit of the fat on this. i really like your style overall, but feel like you had a little trouble with this versus Geskia! for example. maybe it's just genre comfort level? i think you'll be staff eventually though, just keep it up yo

Yeh, definitely. There was a little bit of forcing it on my part (I have many excuses on hand - none of which I'll use). I think it's just been a while since I've reviewed anything which isn't completely left field without having an agenda. Thanks for the feedback.

"mostly because dubstep should have never been brought up in the first place"

Are you referring to Blake having been ever labelled dubstep? Because a large portion of his discography fits pretty well into the genre. Maybe I'm missing your point though.

More that I don't think that whole scene should have been marketed as such. The word dubstep has a tendency to make things messy.
