Just listened to cosmos again recently and I'd forgotten how amazingly complex flylo layers his beats. Mature wasn't the right word now that I think about it. I guess I enjoy the tone of this album sometimes more than I do cosmos.

this is not even comparable with his last 3 albums to be fair. they aren't even on the same wavelength. this is like the pinnacle of downtempo glitch music that everyone else aspires to and fails to touch with a ten foot pole while the following three albums are just not even on the same dimensional field as anything any other emulating artist can create. this is quintessential. those are... utterly idiosyncratic.

you're dead is my least favourite of the three but at the same time is the perfect closer to his exploration of death. i just relate to the first 2 more cuz i like introspective music but the comic relief effect of you're dead is totally dark as fuck given the context and that kind of bleak humour of it makes it brilliant

@hal Idk I really dig the jazzy aspect more than the idm aspect here. Dead also kind of sounds "broken" as in how the tracks are organized, which I find cool. Plus I do love the darker tone.
