great album, I like the eerie rawness of this! not sure about the review...tells too few things about the album. Most descriptions could go for any old school death metal album. And praising it for fast riffs... come on if you look for fast riffs, you should NOT look at bolt thrower, not even to this one!

Always loved this album cover, but the music itself is sloppy. It's the signature Bolt Thrower sound, but the songwriting is weak. Very few memorable riffs and the solos are wack. At least the lyrics are decent.
The vocals are also disappointing. Some tracks it sounds like Karl is 10 feet away from the microphone and is whispering. The production of this album doesn't help matters.
Attack In The Aftermath and Psychological Warfare are the best tracks.
Worth a listen, but the second album is much better.
