This is def lo-fi enough to be considered lo-fi but it’s definitely closer to most well-produced albums than it is to the most lo-fi of lo-fi.

Yeah that makes sense, I really like the production on this. It certainly doesn’t feel obnoxious or confrontational in any way.

Boney make sure you check Terror Twi B-Side 'Harness Your Hopes'....possibly better than any song that made the album itself? :/

I’ll seek out that one. I haven’t dug into the B-side material yet but it seems they have a lot, and at this point I like them enough to think it may be worth the deep drive at some point.

You might be onto something there John mate.
Always loved this band since the 90s, always thought this one was a tad overrated but having heard it again recently it definitely has a touch more thrown together charm than the others which are a bit ‘Now That’s What I Call Music Made by Stoners Vol 7’

I think I might agree with you Johnny. This might have aged better than Crooked Rain.
Here and Perfume-V are so good. Really like the back half of this album.

It's at a four for me right now, but there's plenty of room to grow. I still need to listen to the others to compare the ratings first.

"the others which are a bit ‘Now That’s What I Call Music Made by Stoners Vol 7’"
pahaha, bullseye. still love them, and they often wear that label pretty well, but this has that sweet sweet spontaneous edge in a way nothing else quite touches
