I like this album WAY more than the newer one, and I think it’s solely due to the production.
I understand that it was most likely a stylistic choice, but I feel like the new album sounds like it was recorded inside of a wet paper bag.

I don’t think it sounds like that at all lol. It’s a lot more crisp and organic, the instrumentals are really easy to discern. This one is just like getting hit with a fucking ton of bricks
Different approaches but both have their merits, glad they aren’t doing the same thing twice
