It's where every half point is earned. Some guy on rym uses it on a proper scale so you can google it if you wanna read about it from him.
I actually start from 1.5 as the default. 1 is the only level of bad I have. Stuff that is genuinely irritating or terrible. 1.5 just means I have no interest in it. Everything above means there's something I like, to whatever degree.
I can't be the only person who does this
