Atmospheric indeed. Probably even more apocalyptic than 'Deceit' in that regard, despite the latter being constructed more or less around that exact concept. The four track run from 'Twilight Furniture' through 'Music Like Escaping Gas' is excellente.

Fuck yeah. I love that version of Swahili, but I love the one on 'Deceit', too. Its weird Frankenstein's monster reconstruction is intriguing in a way that kind of reinforces the album's themes of impending doom and looming, inexplicable eeriness. Plus the long lead-in from Radio Prague is nice.

Liking this more than Deceit on the first few spins. It's definitely more avant-garde but honestly it feels more cohesive and some of the textures here are just incredible. Haunting stuff.
