Terrible comparison, you only need to play a video game once to get it, a movie once is good enough usually, but 2-3 viewings is best. For me it takes 5-10 listens to get an album. A lot of times people review an album after one listen, and then after a few more listens their rating is completely different and the review looks like shit

plus some video games take 100 hours to complete. an album is usually only like 40 minutes long so you should take some time to let it sink in.
