Heard Storm in a Tea Cup, enough reason to 1 (in addition to the singles + that RVG song). One of the most talentless bands to ever exist

the singing on the album sounded so familiar, I realized the vocalist was in a band called "curse at 27" yearrssss ago.
man, this guy went downhill.

also, check out the original version of the departed. that was one of their songs.

Downloading an album isn't the only way to listen to it on the Internet..

I got 3 songs in and tossed it in the recycling bin. Was good for a few laughs until it just got boring.

as a fan of generic breakdown/electronica music, i thought it was okay.

for all those people out there that miss the OLD Asking Alexandria, these guys fill that void quite nicely. Theyre defonatly not the same, and theyre defonatly not as talented, But as far as Drop D Electronic/pop Metal goes, its okay.

as for lyrics and song content, i think that they're being strait up. and that accomodates the music nicely. It's straitforward and simplistic, and gets the point across (however many times that may be). For instance, calling girls whores and using 'fucking' alot obviously indicates that he wanted to express his hatred toward a certain girl or group of girls, i dunno.

But i was going through a point in my life and i could defo RELATE to the anger and frustration in the music. Its also easy to headbang to, and party to at the same time!

all in all, it was okay!

You don't download an album and listen to it on the internet, but I see what you mean.

I thought the album was pretty catchy... I mean the genre is about chuggachuggachugga synth synth. They're basically old Asking Alexandria except catchier. The only song that needs to fuck off is RVG, but the album was decent for a first lp... *puts on flamesuit*

Stand up and scream is a masterpiece compared to this. At least that album had some catchy tracks as opposed to it being entirely composed of filler like this one.

everyone needs to realise that this guys are a hardcore band so there will be a lot of breakdowns, typical clean vocals and simple guitar work. they are described as generic, but if they weren't in the hardcore scene where would they be with their individual talents? the main thing is with this album and their style is that is it simple while being unbelievable catchy. the breakdowns are powerful and clean vocal choruses are so meaningful and catchy. the electronic elements really liven up the songs making adding to their sound. take the chorus of 'fork tongued' and it is way above average than choruses of other hardcore bands. the faux orchestra works very well. take the outro of 'rvg'. the backing vocals are so powerful and everything about that section is so well in place. the band is a very good ambassador for the genre and people should be more open minded!
